Brad’s passion for innovative communications led him to create Rockit Science nearly 20 years ago. His passion for excellence in communications and brands is a true reflection of his “ad man” soul. A third-generation artist and inventor, he understands the delicate balance of insights and their application to the creative form which gives birth to successful brands. As an award-winning industry leader, he has been recognized for his contributions to the business communities he works in, the advertising industry, and by non-profits he supports through his many volunteer activities. He lives in Baton Rouge with his wife and three children.
Sims passion for branding, marketing, and communications has led him to work for a variety of government, non-profit, and publicly traded companies. His diverse experience has included work in a variety of markets including; New York, Los Angeles, Germany, Chicago and Washington D.C. His public relations efforts for clients has been featured in the Washington Post, USA Today and The New York Times. Sims is highly specialized in community-based campaigns, crisis communications, and mergers and acquisitions. Sims has been recognized for his outstanding achievements with a Business Report Top 40 Under 40 Award and Marketing Executives of America Top Executive of the Year. He lives in Baton Rouge with his wife, three children and pug.
Amy brings over 20 years of marketing, financial, and business experience to the team. Amy has a diverse background of working with national brands including Tyson Foods, Sara Lee, Swanson, USDA, Shell, and General Growth Properties. She has extensively worked with national retailers like Apple and Pottery Barn. In her spare time, Amy is an avid baker, taught by her grandmother from a young age as they listened to Patsy Cline. She is an active volunteer in schools and multiple non-profits. Amy has a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University. She lives in Baton Rouge with her daughter and husband.
From an early age, Grant’s childhood creativity developed with a fascination for superheroes, dinosaurs, and drawing. He continues to be influenced by global cultural trends and is an early adopter of technology and underground trends associated with design, comics, and punk music. He has developed fundamental brand strategies and consumer package designs for several regional and national brands included Cajun Injector, Molina Cigars, and NOLA Brewing. He recently won accolades for a series of poster designs depicting oil damage off the coast of Louisiana. His hobbies include writing and illustrating the serialized adventures of Rojas, an indie comic book series, bowling and attending concerts. Grant holds a BFA in Studio Art from LSU, graduating Summa Cum Laude (which means, he’s really smart). He is a member of AAF (Advertising Federation of America) and Forum 35.
Though her first passion was to become an oil painter she decided to major in advertising because she believed it was a unique mix of both strategy and creativity. She earned a bachelor’s in Mass Communication with a concentration in Advertising from the Manship School of Mass Communication and minors in graphic design and sociology. As an account executive at Rockit Science Agency, she oversees the planning, strategizing, and executing of projects for regional and national clients. Her leadership experience and strong work ethic were recognized when she was elected onto the American Advertising Federation of Baton Rouge (AAF-BR) board of directors after her first year as a professional member. She has been nationally awarded for her work with the organization and served as president for the 2017-2018 year. Currently, she serves as AAF-BR’s government relations chair and AAF’s state representative for Louisiana.
Jordan received his BA in Visual Arts, with a concentration in Graphic Design, from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2013. He first became interested in art in ’96, when he began drawing the characters from the hit movie, Space Jam (with incredible likeness). Since then, he has developed and maintained a thirsty passion for art and design and enjoys keeping up with current and future design trends. Between normal business hours, you can find him at the agency cranking out crispy designs while listening to Arctic Monkeys. On the weekend you’re likely to find him in the great outdoors or wherever is serving cold craft beer.
Kyle's inspiration for design and development started as a young child with an obsession with anime, science fiction novels, and legos. Inspired by rebels who grew into the role of heroes, Kyle has always fought for what he wanted. His stubborn "can do" attitude scored him a spot on our interactive team and helped him create a soap & cosmetic business, Boeccure, with his life partner, Melinda.
Jacob's passion for design began at an early age when his love for music, skateboarding, and technology collided. After dreaming of being a touring musician the majority of his childhood, he decided it was time to face reality and start thinking about a longtime career. Years later, he finds himself with a dream job as an interactive developer, a loving wife, and son.
Although Brandon is currently a motion graphic designer at the Agency, he was born into the world as an illustrator. His career has brought him to focus on many more aspects of design including video editing, motion graphics, front-end web development, branding, illustration, and presentation-building.
