LUBA Workers’ Comp

As the second largest underwriter for workers’ comp in the Gulf South, LUBA Workers’ Comp, was looking for a fresh way to reach out to their agents. Rockit Science Agency developed three consecutive annual campaigns entitled the “10 Most Wanted.” In doing so, the Agency provided LUBA Workers’ Comp with some dynamic creative unlike anything seen elsewhere in the insurance industry.

Action Packed Campaign

The “L-Men” campaign, which paid homage to the “G-Men” or “Government Men,” earned national attention with regional awards and a national gold advertising award - the highest honor in the ad industry. The campaign features stylized retro designs and imagery with company executives in vintage period costumes, Model-T cars and real tommy-guns.

It’s Like the Untouchables

The Campaign used the classic movie theme of a dark mysterious detective’s office to brand retro movie posters, direct mailers, and a website. Additional promotional items included branded coffee mugs, donut boxes and cigar match books.

We’re Gunning for You

LUBA Workers’ Comp reached its goals faster than any other year, with sales representatives writing the maximum amount of policies allowed within a given year.

The Part Where We Talk About the Awards We’ve Won

In 2009, Luba Workers’ Comp’s interactive website received a National ADDY at the AAF Advertising Awards competition and a regional silver award. The L-Men trailer won a local gold ADDY award for cinematography, and two local silver ADDY awards were bestowed on the website and online trailer.
