Advanced Office Systems retained Rockit Science Agency to create an integrated brand campaign supported by traditional and non-traditional advertising. Rockit Science Agency developed a satirical world where "cardboard" is the best solution for office technical solutions, including the dreaded copier.
TV Spots and Viral Videos
Through a series of television commercials, radio spots, viral videos, websites and blogs the campaign was brought to life and led to a record year of sales of real printers.
Cardboard Kremlin
A mini-site and blog were created for one of the campaign's characters, Alex, and his cardboard services.
Motivational Posters
The website featured parodies of inspirational posters commonly found in cubicles.
Cardboard Printer
A full size cardboard replica of a printer was constructed for the TV spots and print ads.
The Part Where We Talk About the Awards We've Won
In 2009, Advanced Office Systems’ “Break-In” webisode won a regional gold ADDY award. Four local silver ADDY awards were also given for Advanced Office Systems’ commercial, online campaign, cardboard printer and webisodes. The cardboard printer created for the campaign was also awarded for its use of Non-Traditional Advertising.
