Rockit Science Agency Hired to Rebrand Global Retail Association

Jan 28, 2016

Baton Rouge, La. (January 28, 2016) – Rockit Science Agency, a boutique advertising agency based in Baton Rouge, La., has been awarded work to rebrand the merger of two leading global retail associations; Association for Retail Environments (A.R.E.) and Point of Purchase Advertising International (POPAI). The process was narrowed to multiple agencies across the globe and awarded to Rockit Science Agency.

“After reviewing an agency short list from around the world, we selected Rockit Science Agency based on their past experience and progressive creative approach,” said Todd D. Dittman, Chief Operating Officer for A.R.E | POPAI. "As these are two deep-rooted associations with passionate members, it’s critical that our new brand unites our membership and will stand the test of time in a continually changing retail environment."

A.R.E. | POPAI is the global, non-profit association dedicated to enhancing the total shopper experience. The merger of two venerable industry associations now represents more than 2,000 member companies worldwide.

"We are delighted to be working with two legacy brands and associations that continue to innovate and evolve consumers’ retail experiences," said Brad BonGiovanni, Principal at Rockit Science Agency. The scope of work will include brand positions, brand architecture, and a new brand identity to be unveiled this March at GlobalShop, the largest global event for retail design and shopper marketing, in Las Vegas.

The association conducts research, produces training programs, industry events and conferences, and provides proprietary publications that educate and promote best practices. Members include retail environments suppliers and designers, fixture/display producers, retailers, brands and marketing agencies.
